Lake John is a 104 acre lake, It has a maximum depth of 23 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike.

Wheeler Lake is a 281 acre lake, It has a maximum depth of 35 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

Battle Creek is a wonderful nature area at the end of Murphy Road for hiking among the natural beauty and has historical significance. It’s named Battle Creek because of the Native American battle that occurred there between the Menominee and Ojibwa Tribes. As you walk through the area you may notice depressions on the ground. Those were dug by the Menominee to lay in wait for the invading Ojibwa.
